Long-Term Memory

what, you want me
to list it?

22.09.03 - 9:32 AM - Peep

Oh, how the times, they fly. It seems like just yesteryear I was sitting at this very same keyboard typing out may last entry. Since then I have worked approximately a bazillion hours -- for those who don't know, a bazillion is somewhere between one and a googleplex -- run myself ragged, done no writing whatsoever, let the fiddle backslide (not to mention the mando), and fallen behind on the film project with the Censored Fudgeo. Today is my lone day off after yet another 60+ hour work-week. Methinks it may be time to back off a little on the fervent workload. On the upside, they are announcing the full-time positions today, one of which should by all accounts be mine. The funny thing about being full-time is that it should work out to less hours than part-time with better benefits. Go figure.

So how do I fill the void here? I've updated once since my return from The Rock with promises of other tales to tantalize and terrify (or at least tongue-tie). Those yarns have grown dusty in the forgotten corners of my head, only to be replaced with other (and now equally dusty) stories. Should I pull one out, shake out the cobwebs and offer it as a token of my affections? Perhaps the rancid tale of my coming face-to-ass with a skunk on the way to work at 4:30 AM? Too brief -- the description is the story. What about the tale of my fitting both of my feet in my mouth at work in front of all my team mates? Twice? Nothing original there (sadly). How about the tale of how I ended up in Denver drinking malt-liquour from a paper bag? No, too fictional. Instead I shall regale you with...

Nothing

That's right, it's Nothing, the story you've all been waiting for chronicling the tales of no one as he goes nowhere and accomplished diddly-squat. The English language premiere of the French sensation "Fuck-All", Nothing will touch you in ways you didn't realize were legal. Yes, it's Nothing, the story poised to take the literary world by storm. It's a tale at once startlingly stark, yet hauntingly familiar. And without further ado:
